Joshua Bechdel is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a bachelor of science in psychology from Lock Haven University and a master of science in counseling psychology from Chatham University. He typically works with clients handling anxiety, depression, suicidality, daily coping, and mental wellness. He wants to help his clients work to reach their goals and become more self-aware of their needs. He is also willing to work with various forms of trauma and abuse — including physical, mental, and sexual.

Joshua has experience working with a variety of populations. He has previously worked with children and adolescents in partial hospitalization, helping them with depression, anxiety, self-injurious behaviors, and suicidality. He has also worked within Western Psychiatric Hospital, working with individuals, both adult and children, through a variety of mental disorders.

Joshua utilizes active listening and works with the client to help tailor treatment to their specific needs. He enjoys hearing clients' backgrounds and working to understand each one as a unique individual.
