About Rajvee:
After earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2010, Rajvee Shah began her career as an orthopedic physical therapist in various outpatient facilities around NYC, earning board certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Her personal experiences, including a miscarriage and a profound childbirth, fueled her dedication to assisting individuals with pain and challenges during pregnancy and post-pregnancy recovery. With over 2,000 hours of hands-on treatment of pelvic floor patients, Rajvee achieved board certification as a Women's Health Certification Specialist (WCS).

Rajvee’s journey also led her to specialize in oncology and lymphedema therapy. She gained extensive experience treating head and neck cancer, various pelvic cancers, breast cancer rehab, and lymphedema, obtaining certification in lymphedema training (CLT). Her own diagnosis of early-stage breast cancer in 2023 further deepened her expertise in oncology rehab, using pre-rehabilitation techniques to prepare for treatments and surgery, and ultimately returning to pre-diagnosis activity levels post-treatment. This dual experience as both patient and practitioner fuels her commitment to oncology rehabilitation.

As a certified yoga instructor (200RYT), Rajvee incorporates mind-body wellness into her therapeutic work, supporting clients through breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, and various asana practices. Her faith in yoga principles, along with pillars like sleep hygiene and clean eating, helped her navigate her health challenges during pregnancy, the postnatal period, and cancer recovery.

Rajvee’s practice is dedicated to creating a nurturing and secure environment where clients can enhance their connection with themselves and their bodies. Her diverse and comprehensive therapeutic approach is gentle, combining individual and systemic interventions. This is driven by a holistic assessment customized to meet each client's specific needs and objectives.

Rajvee is an ally of BLM, LGBTQ+, and various marginalized communities, striving to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all clients.
