Chris Naccarelli LCSW, is a dedicated therapist and clinical manager for Calm Pittsburgh. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English and holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.
Since 2013, Chris's background has been in clinical and community mental health settings, working with children, adults, families, couples, and groups. He approaches therapy as a way of empowering people, assisting them in their self-understanding and growth as better people for their own sake but for their families and communities.
Chris is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, but his approach constantly evolves as he integrates several techniques, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment-Based Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, person-centered psychotherapy, and trauma-informed care.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, is an avid reader, and likes to live by Albert Einstein's saying, "I have no special talents—I am only passionately curious."
